Rodolfo was born and raised in Ecuador. He completed his undergraduate education (B.S., Physics Engineering) at the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey in México and went on to complete his graduate education (Ph.D., Physics) at the University of Texas at Austin, under the supervision of Prof. Pawan Kumar. Rodolfo was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Racah Institute of Physics at Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where he worked in Prof. Tsvi Piran’s group. There, he also collaborated with Prof. Re’em Sari, and with Prof. Ehud Nakar from Tel Aviv University. After his position in Jerusalem, he became a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Prof. Dimitrios Giannios’ group at the Department of Physics and Astronomy in Purdue University. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Physics and Astronomy at California State University, Sacramento.
